The Farmhouse Inn would be honored to host your weekend wedding celebration for groups up to 100 people. Our family farm offers a unique blend of farm and garden settings for each part of your event, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. We specialize in “Green Weddings”! From our locally grown food, our land conservation practices, our solar energy and energy conservation policy, and our recycling program at the inn, the owners of Hundred Acre Farm strive to protect the land and the beauty it provides. This feeling of respect for the farm is reflected to you and your guests in every part of your wedding event.
Military members have the option of enlisting our local high school’s Reserve Officer Training Corps sabre team.
We can suggest several preferred caterers or you can use your own by following our Catering Agreement. Clients can provide their own alcoholic beverages with hired bar service and an event liability insurance policy.
Wedding facility rentals are priced individually with your plan in mind. For planning purposes, an estimate for a 100 person weekend wedding event would be around $4,500.00 for the event facility, for Friday and Saturday and includes tables and chairs and set up and breakdown. Overnight Accommodations at the Farmhouse Inn must be guaranteed for the weekend and are $2,610.00 total for both Friday and Saturday nights.
To hold a date: $250 "hold the date deposit is taken at the time you want us to place a hold on a specific date. It is refundable for the next 30 days (provided the event date is at least 3 months away). Within 30 days of holding the date, a reservation deposit of ½ of total amount is due (minus the $250) is taken to confirm the reservation. This reservation deposit is refundable until 60 days prior to your event. If canceling prior to the 60 day notice, the reservation deposit is refunded minus a $250 cancellation fee. After the 60 day notice has passed no refund can be obtained.
Beginning later this year (2016), we will also offer a ceremony-only option at our newly renovated Sugar Creek Chapel, which is also available as part of our standard wedding package. This historical church has a capacity of 100 guests and is available for four hours at a total cost of $600, including the option of outdoor photos on our natural property. There are no overnight lodgings or any other events (rehearsal dinner, reception, etc.) included with this choice.
